Educational Qualification :Candidates must hold a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification which is recognised by the Central Government.
Prospective applicants who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply on a provisional basis. However, this is subject to the condition that at the time of the interview, they’ll need to produce proof that they have passed the graduation examination.

Negative Marking: Negative Marking of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer.

Important Points

  • Marks of both papers will be consider for qualifying candidates for the mains exam.
  • Both Paper I and Paper II have negative marking for all the incorrect answers.
  • There will be no negative marking for unattended questions.
  • There is negative marking of 1/3rd of the marks allocated to the questions.
  • The questions on decision making in Paper II do not attract negative marks if incorrectly answered.
  • All the questions are set in ENglish & Marathi except for those questions which are meant to test the candidates knowledge of English.

1. There is negative marking in the objective questions paper
2. Candidates need to attempt all the papers to qualify for the Interview round
3. This round is both scoring and Qualifying in nature

Interview Test
1.Candidates who qualify the MPSC Mains. Exam are called for the 'Interview' Round.
2.Interview will be conducting for 100 marks

2. MPSC Combine Group - B

You can apply for the MPSC Subordinate Services Combined exam(PSI-STI-ASO) with simple graduation and if you want to apply for PSI then you must have Physical Requirements. For Group C Services you will need typing certificates for tax assistant and clerk typist but you can apply for excise sub-inspector with only graduation and physical Requirements. But if you don’t have a typing certificate or physically fit according to standards then also you can apply for ASO and STI.

Education Qualification : Degree from recognized university or equivalent qualification prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra.

Physical Standards : Male: Height for PSI exam minimum should be 165Cm (Barefoot), Chest: 79 cm without expansion and capacity to expand 5 cm.
Female: Height 157 cm. Persons with Disabilities: Not Eligible. Numbers of Attempts: Unlimited Attempts within age limit. for MPSC Exams.

Chest (Male): Unexpanded: 79 cms Expanded: 84 cms.

Negative Marking : there is no negative marking for wrong answers

Nature of Exam: Offline-MCQ Based Questions Papers.

Physical Test : Qualified candidates in the Police Sub Inspector Main Examination have to attend for Physical Test which includes Pull-Ups 40 marks, Long Jump 30 marks, Shortput 30 marks, Running (800 Meters in 02:30 minutes) 100 marks, Total 200 marks.

Interview : Interview will be for 100 marks.
